Are your Career Centers the same as the Unemployment Office?

No. Each CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion Career Center is a one-stop destination to find a variety of services to assist job candidates under one roof. Though the staff at our Career Centers can help you connect with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Reemployment Assistance Office (formerly the unemployment compensation office) to file a claim, we are not the unemployment office.

Is CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion the same as DCF?

No. Even though we partner with DCF on programs like food stamps (SNAP) and Temporary Cash Assistance  for Needy Families (TANF), we are not the same entity and we cannot answer specific inquiries about these services.

Can you help me with training for a new career?

Maybe! CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion can assist with funding for training to prepare you for targeted occupations through the WIOA program. Individuals who are not working or employed in low-wage jobs might be eligible for tuition assistance and academic support services through CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion.
