Training and Education Assistance

Upgrading your skills can lead to the right job.

For many career seekers, finding the right job right now is the logical way to go. But if you are uncertain which job is right for you, or if you lack necessary credentials/experience, training may be what's needed to help reach your career goals.

Financial aid may be available to eligible candidates through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014.

We are currently only accepting scholarship applications for individuals that are collecting, or are eligible to receive unemployment compensation also known as reemployment assistance in Florida.  Please see details located at the bottom of this page for information on PELL grant assistance.

To begin the eligibility determination process, please complete the three-step Career Success Plan. 

STEP 1 - Application

Download, complete and save the CareerSource Services Application here. 

STEP 2 - Orientation

STEP 3 - Registration

Complete a full registration with Employ Florida. You must do this before you can meet with a Career Coach. For instructions, please download this step-by-step guide detailing how to register fully at Employ Florida. When you are ready > Complete Your Registration.

After completing your application, watching the orientation webinar and registering with Employ Florida,  please email the completed application to To ensure we receive your online application, include in the subject line: WIOA Career Success Plan Application. An online services support technician will review your Career Success Plan activities and forward your application to a WIOA Career Coach if all your activities are complete. Please also let them know if you live in Citrus, Levy or Marion county.
